Sources and changing information
Each guide links to the responsible attraction, public body or operator where possible. Check those sources for current openings, prices, reservations, access and service changes. Suggested routes and scopes are editorial planning advice. A nearby map pin does not establish an easy walking connection.
Real photographs, identified honestly
Our destination photographs are sourced from documented photographs of the Maltese islands. We do not use AI-generated destination scenes or substitute foreign places. Captions identify the actual subject: a building exterior, for example, is not presented as a photograph of its interior. Each guide supplies the photographer, original source and licence link.
Photography can predate a visit and is cropped responsively. A photograph does not prove that a space is currently open, that a facility is present or that the sea is suitable for swimming.
How the tools work
Tools explain their assumptions. Budgets calculate your inputs; attraction and beach finders filter editorial shortlists; itinerary suggestions do not calculate live journey times. The trip notebook stores your outline in this browser and can export a copy. These tools do not make bookings.
Privacy and independence
Saved guides and tool settings use this browser’s local storage. They do not sync between devices. This edition has no account or newsletter form and no analytics integration. External maps, links and fonts have their own provider policies. Malta Notebook is an independent guide, unaffiliated with tourism authorities or the reference websites.
